Who You’re Actually Hiring
Go and look at the work
Ask us for addresses near you and we will give you them. Twenty years in three counties means there is almost certainly a house we completed within a few miles of yours.
You can come to the shop
Our Bonita Springs address has not moved since 2005. We work Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties, and our own local team remains accountable after installation.
The approval numbers go on your quote
Every product carries a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or Florida Product Approval. The specific approval numbers for your openings are printed on your quote.
There is exactly one company to call
The person who measures your house and the crew who installs it work for the same company. If you need us later, you call the same local team.
Sunshine State’s Core Principles
Show Up
We arrive when we say we will, keep you informed, and never leave an opening exposed when Florida weather is moving in.

No Runaround
Your project manager is reachable, the permit is handled, and the same local team stays responsible from measure through final inspection.
No Middleman Parts
We install manufacturer-approved impact products sourced for your address and wind zone, never mystery substitutions.
Leave It Clean
Old units are removed, openings are sealed and finished, debris is cleared, and your home is left ready to use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers to your impact window questions. No contractor games or hidden fluff, just the facts about how we protect your Florida home.
How does Sunshine State differ from other contractors?
We aren’t storm chasers. We are local owners working out of one shop in Bonita Springs, and we measure, permit, install and warranty every job with our own crew. Nothing is handed to a subcontractor who leaves the county after season.
Impact windows or hurricane shutters, which should I actually get?
Both meet code. Impact windows are permanent: nothing to put up, nothing to store, and they also help with noise, UV and security. Shutters and screens cost less up front and work well for lanais and large slider runs, but someone has to close them before a storm. Many homes use a combination of both.
Do I need a permit, and who pulls it?
Yes. Window, door, shutter and screen replacements are permitted, and we pull the permit. We handle product approvals, engineering where required and the final inspection.
What wind rating do I need in Bonita Springs?
Most of Bonita Springs, Estero and Fort Myers is in a 150 mph design-wind-speed zone, with higher requirements along the coast and barrier islands. Every product we install carries a Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval that meets or exceeds the requirement for your address.
How long does it take from deposit to done?
Measure and permitting usually takes one to two weeks. Custom impact products commonly take six to ten weeks to manufacture, and a whole-home installation usually takes three to nine days depending on the number of openings. Your contract will show the current dates and lead times.
What areas of Florida do you serve?
We serve Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties, including Bonita Springs, Naples, Estero, Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Marco Island, Sanibel and Captiva, Punta Gorda and nearby communities. See the full service area.
