Who you’re letting into your house.
Family-run out of one shop in Bonita Springs. Our own crew measures it, fits it and meets the inspector. Nobody else touches your openings.
Impact windows in Bonita Springs since 2005.
Sunshine State is a family business working out of one shop in Bonita Springs. Twenty years, the same building, the same name on the truck. We are not a roofer who added windows and we are not a franchise office, and that is deliberate: doing one trade for twenty years is the only way anybody gets good at it.
We measure your openings ourselves, pull the permit ourselves, install with our own crew and meet the inspector at final. Nothing is handed to a sub who leaves the county when season ends, which is the entire reason our warranty is worth the paper it is printed on. Storms come through and the contractors who arrived with them leave again. We were here before, and we are here after.
The whole list is impact windows, impact and entry doors, sliding glass doors, hurricane shutters and hurricane screens. Keeping wind and water on the outside of Florida homes. Nothing else, which is why we are good at it.
Who You’re Actually Hiring
Anybody can print a magnet for a truck door. These are the four things you can go and check on us yourself, before you sign anything.
Go and look at the work
Ask us for addresses near you and we will give you them. Twenty years in three counties means there is almost certainly a house we did within a few miles of yours, on the street, in daylight, nothing staged. A contractor who cannot do that is telling you something.
You can come to the shop
One address in Bonita Springs, and it has not moved since 2005. We work Lee, Collier and Charlotte and nothing past them, because a warranty is only worth the company’s willingness to drive back out and honour it. Our kids go to school here.
The approval numbers go on your quote
Everything we hang carries a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance or a Florida Product Approval rated at or above what your address’s wind zone requires. The specific numbers for your openings are printed on the quote, so you can look them up before you agree to anything. Most quotes just say “impact rated” and leave it there.
There is exactly one company to call
Ask any contractor who actually turns up on install day. Here it is us. The person who measured your house is on the payroll, and so is the person who fits it. If a seal fails in year six you ring the same number you rang for the quote, and you talk to the same people.
Sunshine State’s Core Principles
Five rules. Every one of them exists for the same reason: the day the wind arrives, your house is either sealed or it is not. There is no third outcome.
Beat The Season
Hurricane season has a date on it and the factory does not care. We tell you the real lead time before you sign, we start when we said we would, and if anything slips you hear it from us first, because a window sitting on a truck in September protects nobody.
Straight Numbers
The number on the contract is the number you pay, itemised opening by opening. No change orders invented halfway through, and no “the frame was rotten” conversation on the last day. Nobody should be deciding to leave an opening unprotected because the price moved.
We Handle The County
Permits, engineering, product approvals, final inspection. All of it, and you never chase anybody. This is not paperwork for its own sake: the permit is the only reason somebody independent ever checks that your openings were actually fitted the way the product approval requires.
Nothing Unrated Goes On Your House
Every unit carries an approval rated at or above what your address needs, from manufacturers who will still honour a warranty in ten years. We do not swap in off-brand glass to win a bid. This is the principle that does the actual protecting. The rest of them are how we get here.
Finished Means Finished
Sealed, shimmed, fastened to schedule, stucco patched, old units hauled off, magnet run over the driveway. A job that is nearly done is a job with a gap in it, and a gap is where the water starts. You should not be able to tell we were here except for the windows.

How does Sunshine State differ from other contractors?
We aren’t storm chasers. We are local owners working out of one shop in Bonita Springs, and we measure, permit, install and warranty every job with our own crew. Nothing is handed to a sub that leaves the county after season.
