What We Did

Twenty-two openings on a two story home three streets back from the water. The owners had single pane aluminum from the original build and had been putting plywood up every season. We measured every opening, pulled the Lee County permit and installed laminated impact glass in bronze frames throughout. The west elevation took a thicker laminate because it faces open water. Four days on site, one elevation at a time. No more plywood.

Whole-Home Impact Window Installation, Bonita Springs

Hickory Road sits in one of the most desirable coastal corridors in Southwest Florida, Bonita Springs, just west of US-41 and a short drive from Barefoot Beach. Homes this close to the water carry a higher wind-load requirement, and the owners wanted every opening protected to code rather than piecemeal. We replaced all 22 windows with laminated impact glass in bronze frames, one elevation at a time so the house was never fully open.
